Rescue Programs

We have a few different "rescue programs" you can donate to. In general we will spend donations where they are needed the most, but if you note one of these special programs when making your donation, we will set the donation aside for it.

Spay/Neuter Fund - This fund helps us spay/neuter animals that come into our care before we find them new homes. The fund also includes the Spaying and Neutering of Feral cats were we Trap/Neuter/Return. Spaying and Neutering is one of the greatest gifts we can give our pets. It helps control overpopulation. It may also prevent medical and behavioral problems from developing.

Paw and Hoof Rescue Fund - This fund will help families who have lost their homes and/or barns due to fires or other disasters. We will provide food, temporary shelter, supplies, and vet care when needed. We will work in conjunction with the American Red Cross and the Bedford County Animal Response Team. After a fire it takes a family many months to rebuild and return to a normal life. This is one way the Sanctuary can help by providing a service that does not currently exist in our area.

Heaven Sent Horse Rescue - One of our dreams is to be able to help abandoned, abused, starving, and unwanted horses. Donations sent marked for this program will go to directly benefit these horses.
